Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how TVGUN collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you visit or use our website, account features, community forums, translation tools and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It also explains the choices and rights available to you. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Scope and who is responsible

This Policy applies to personal information processed by TVGUN in connection with the Service. TVGUN is the controller of that information unless we expressly state otherwise. It does not govern third-party websites, video platforms, game publishers, tournament organizers or services reached through links on TVGUN; those parties apply their own privacy notices. Public posts may be indexed, copied or discussed outside TVGUN, so do not publish information that you want to keep private.

2. Information you provide

We collect information you submit directly, including your email address, display name, securely hashed password, profile image, biography, region, language, game interests and privacy preferences. We also process the posts, comments, reactions, team-up details, reports, appeals, support requests, survey responses and other content you choose to provide. If you contact us, we may retain your message, contact details and the information reasonably needed to investigate and respond. Please do not include government identifiers, financial credentials, exact home addresses, health information or other sensitive personal data in public content.

3. Information collected through use

When you use the Service, we may automatically receive technical and activity information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, approximate region derived from IP, pages viewed, links selected, session times, authentication events and diagnostic or security logs. We record interactions needed to provide features, such as follows, bookmarks, votes, content history and translation preferences. We may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, prevent fraud, measure reliability and understand aggregate use. We do not use your private account data to build advertising profiles for sale.

4. Sources of information

Most information comes from you or your device. We may also receive information from an authentication provider if you choose a third-party sign-in method, from another user who reports content or interacts with you, and from public sources when necessary to investigate abuse, intellectual-property complaints or threats to community safety. Linked video platforms may provide public metadata such as a title, thumbnail, creator name or availability status; TVGUN does not need to copy the underlying video file to provide link discovery and discussion.

5. How and why we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; display profiles and attribute contributions; publish, rank, translate and recommend community content; operate search, notifications, bookmarks and moderation; diagnose errors and improve performance; prevent spam, cheating services, fraud, harassment and unauthorized access; answer support requests; enforce our Terms and Community Rules; maintain records; and comply with lawful obligations. Where law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, compliance with law, or consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

6. Translation and automated systems

If you request or enable translation, the relevant content and language information may be sent to an automated translation provider. Translations may be cached to improve speed and avoid repeated processing. Machine-generated translations can be inaccurate and are labeled or presented as translations; the original content remains authoritative. We may use automated signals to detect spam, suspicious logins, prohibited links or potentially harmful content, but significant enforcement decisions may also be reviewed by a person. You may use the reporting or appeal channel to request review of a moderation outcome.

7. How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary: to infrastructure, hosting, database, security, analytics, email, translation and support vendors acting under contractual restrictions; to other users and the public when you publish content or make profile fields visible; to professional advisers and auditors bound by confidentiality; to authorities or other parties when required by valid legal process or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and service integrity; and in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not permit service providers to use it for their independent advertising.

8. International data transfers

TVGUN is intended for a global community. Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than the one where you live, and those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions or other lawful mechanisms. Public content can be viewed globally. You should avoid posting personal information about yourself or another person unless you have the right and a clear reason to make it public.

9. Retention

We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance or service continuity. Public contributions may remain available after account deletion, but can be de-identified from your profile unless removal is legally required or operationally appropriate. Security logs, reports and moderation records are generally kept only as long as needed to prevent repeated abuse, establish an audit trail and meet legal obligations. Backup copies may persist for a limited recovery cycle before being overwritten. Retention periods vary by data type, context and applicable law.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including password hashing, access controls, secure session cookies, rate limiting, logging and restricted production access where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, protecting your device and signing out of shared devices. If you believe your account or personal information has been compromised, notify us promptly through the Feedback page and select the safety or account-related topic.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; appeal certain decisions; and complain to a data-protection authority. You may update available profile and visibility controls in Settings. To exercise another right, submit a request through the Feedback page and clearly identify it as a privacy request. We may verify your identity and authority, and may retain limited information where an exemption applies. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law permits. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

12. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who is not permitted to use the Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this requirement, contact us through the Feedback page. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information and closing the account.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements or changes in our practices. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material, as required by law. Continued use after the new version takes effect means the updated Policy applies to later processing, but we will seek consent where legally required. Questions, complaints and rights requests may be submitted through TVGUN’s Feedback page. Include enough detail for us to locate the relevant account or content, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
